My life as of recently…

Wow. Senior Show just went up here at school and it was a rush. I displayed my work alongside some other incredible artists. Seriously it was awesome. Here are a few of the highlights:

On a bit different note…

Being a photographer, you’re bound to have interests in a few different areas.

One of the things I’ve really enjoyed lately is 3d modelling and animation. I really enjoy it.

Here is a test render I put through in blender, an open-source program several years in the making. The model is a pre-fab from a contest called Petunia. (It’s a he. Hm.)

I used the Yaf(a)ray render engine to crank this guy out. I’ve found it a lot more powerful using the py scripting.

Enjoy Petunia.

***** UPDATE ******

So I’m working with the caustics section of all this jazz, but I can’t seem to get my IOR to activate for the caustics. Weak. Here it is anyway. :)

Dirt and Ash.

While working through ideas for my senior show, I found some lovely people to assist me in modeling. Here are a few now and hopefully more will find their way up soon. No promises. Senior show is due in 15 hours and 40 minutes. Yipes.

God is good.
