In a Thousand Words or Less

Today was a great day. We went to Tincup, a ghost town near Taylor Reservoir. It was a blast. Here are photos:

The past several days have been spent with family in the heart of Colorado. I’ve enjoyed taking time away from the camera and just taking all of the beauty around me in. I can’t stay away from the camera forever though. Here’s today in photos.

I’ve been trying to work on lighting using objects that are around. I like the way these photos turned up and I’m thankful to my brother for working with me.

I had the opportunity to photograph Steve and Wendy’s wedding this weekend in Indiana with LinneaLiz Photography. The light couldn’t have been more perfect, the bride and groom couldn’t have been happier and the ceremony couldn’t have been more beautiful. In a few words, it was perfect. I loved seeing the passion these two have for each other and for their families and friends. I wish them all the best!

So I’ve had the AMAZING opportunity to travel with my dad the last week. We quite literally drove the entire west coast (San Diego to Seattle) and saw everything there is to see on the way. What an awesome and renewing time. I’ve got 1800 photos to go through, so these will tell the story for now. We’ll see if I get around to posting the rest. Enjoy!
